Song of the Month – Focus Pocus

One of my new years’ resolutions is to keep Song of the Month up to date from now on. Just don’t ask which year, and we’ll get along fine…

Anyway – for this month, I thought I’d go for something modern – the title track on Glenn Crytzer’s new album, Focus Pocus. I have three reasons for doing this:

1. It’s a great track.
2. Hardly anyone these days is actually making the effort to write new songs for swing dancers – and anyone who is, and is making such a great job of it, should be applauded and encouraged.
3. It’s a great track
